It’s not a matter of if, its a matter of when will you get hacked.
If you’re not protecting your wordpress site you’re leaving your house wide open for anyone to come in and rob the jewels.
The pain and frustration that these techniques will save
you from having, well, just compare the cost of just one
day of downtime if you get hacked to the cost of this tutorial.
Blog-lockdown has very easy to follow instructions on hardening your site, and I’m recommending it to all my members who use Wordpress for their membership sites.

Oh woe is me. Why was this not available two weeks ago? I ended up with a Trojan on my computer,
which went on to access all my sites and leave horrible presents behind. 8 hours of sweating bullets and I fixed most of the damage, only to be attacked again.
Finally got everything cleared out and security screwed down tight, but I LOST ONE WEEK of productivity. How much is that worth?
The first few pages of Blog Lockdown (What a misnomer, as this doesn’t just apply to blogs) would have saved me all that grief. And, it’s all laid out so even a techno-bozo like myself can readily follow it. Good job with all the screenshots.
My advice to anyone with blogs or websites — GET THIS NOW!

I have to say as a technical person “Blog Lock Down” is the most comprehensive, easy to understand & follow, step-by-step, nothing left out way to secure your WordPress blog or website.
Craig’s way of teaching is so easy for anyone to follow,
even my mom who is the most non-technical person — could do this stuff.
So if you’re serious about security and locking down your WordPress blog, then get yourself a copy of this valuable resource now.
Two thumbs up from me,

I have been wanting to set up a blog for quite some time but haven’t for a couple of reasons: I didn’t know how and I have read horror stories about blogs being hacked into due to lack of proper security measures. So not only did I not know how to install and set up a blog, but I didn’t know what security measures to use once I had installed it!
Then I ran across Craig Desorcy’s site
idiotproofblogging.com that offered a FREE Report called “Your First Wordpress Blog” that showed how anyone could have their blog up and running before you know it. I was able to do it without any problems, so it truly was idiot proof!
Ok, so that took care of my first concern. Now what to do about security? As luck would have it, Craig has a Report available on that as well, called “Blog Lockdown,” and it is just as easy as his other report to implement all the security measures you need so you can kiss the hackers goodbye!
“Blog Lockdown” has over 100 screenshots that literally take you step by step so that there is practically no way you can get lost following his instructions. His guide doesn’t just suggest a quick fix for security, but rather a very comprehensive approach that stops hackers cold on several fronts so that you are protected no matter how they try to get into your site.
My excuses for not starting a blog are now totally gone thanks to the easy to understand step by step instructions in Craig’s manuals. I highly recommend them to everybody!
